Eine Fotoausstellung aus Anlass des 40. Jahrestages der Nuklearkatastrophe vom 26. April 1986
On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl disaster shook the world. A radioactive cloud was thrown out from reactor No. 4 into the atmosphere and spread over whole Europe.
In recent years, artists with a special focus on nature, which has since reclaimed the place abandoned by humans, explored the area around Chernobyl. The exhibition also offers rare insights into reactor No. 4. In addition, it raises the inevitable question of future repository sites.
Experts are currently examining whether the region around Ulm could be selected as such a site. A decision is expected in 2050.
